How can I join?

SGTV does recruiting at the beginning of every semester. The first step is attending an interest meeting. From there, we will get your training scheduled and get you in contact of the executive producer for the show you want to join. To reach out to a specific exeutive producer, see the contact page.

Where can I watch?

Other than on this website, you can watch SGTV on Facebook and Youtube, as well as on campus channel 4.1. Our live broadcasts air on our Facebook page and are posted on Youtube, Facebook, and the website after.

Do you livestream USC sports?

SGTV live streams USC Club Hockey games on our YouTube channel. NCAA resrictions prevent us from livestreaming non-club sports. Tune in to Capital City Sports for coverage of Gamecock and professional sports.

Do I need any experience or to be a specific major to join?

SGTV welcomes people with all differnt majors with varying levels of experience. Our training program ensures that every staffer has the experience needed to succeed in SGTV.

Where do your shows go live from?

All of our live programming airs out of the Kennedy Greenhouse Studio, next to the UofSC School of Journalism and Mass Communications. USC Club Hockey Games are broadcasted from the Plex HiWire Family Fun & Sports Center in Irmo.

When do you come out with new content?

SGTV operates when classes st UofSC are in session. Follow @SGTVNews4 on Twitter for breaking campus news, even when class isn't in session.
